A Special Gift

Next week is my oldest fifth birthday. For the last few months he has been asking for a blanket or anything mama made. So a few weeks ago I started working on a mixed stitch blanket using some of my favorite stitches such as the puff and joins tooth.
So far he hasn't asked anything about what I am working on even thought he picked the green that is being used. He is happier to play with cars and go work with his dad even few days.
Hopefully it will be finished by next Friday as there is another blanket request by the next birthday child.
